Hiatus

OneUppity has been on hiatus since mid-December. Back now, more determined than ever to make sure 'we the people' get access to the truth about exactly what is happening in America.

If you, dear reader, don't know it yet, the media most of us depended on for over 50 years to bring us the truth - that media is nearly dead. It's dying an ignominious well-deserved death. Now in its final gasp, may it rot in hell for all eternity for the lies, distortions, obfuscations it willingly spread across America. This old media spreads dis-information to confuse, hide, diminish facts and truth. It continues the effort to this very day, but there are fewer people willing to submit to the farce.

Old media = the traditional networks ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN + the Associated Press, the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Atlanta Journal & Constitution, Charlotte Observer, Chicago Tribune and so on.

It's up to all of us to bring facts and truth to Americans. Join us in this effort. There's a good possibility it will save this country from ruin. It damn well better.

November 2nd: America's middle-finger salute to the media

An open letter to ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, NY Times, LA Times, and all major newspapers across America:


We the People will never forget what you did to us. For two years. Unabated. Undeserved.

• You are the schoolyard bullies we remember from childhood. You are the cowards who cried foul or hid when a parent appeared. You congratulate yourselves and each other for bullying us.  
• You dismiss us as rabble. You dismiss our leaders as rabble-rousers.  
• You aim your slack-jawed nonsense at us seven days a week. Your drooling minions line up to take aim at us in every way conceivable.  
• You chide, chastise, make fun of us, accuse us of racism and bigotry, refer to us as AstroTurf idiots.
• You question our ability to reason as we stand with our children in the rain holding signs begging Obama, the Feds, and Congress to stop spending our country into chaos, bankruptcy, or worse, revolution.
• You say repeatedly that we are violent and must be stopped. Note that violence nearly always comes from your side.
• You downplay and denigrate our rallies, our attendance at town hall meetings, our concern for our country, our traditional values.
• You report ( i.e. lie ) that we spit on Congressmen and scream racial epithets at them, without a single shred of evidence to support the story when hundreds of witnesses and cameras are literally everywhere.

• You call us Nazi’s, rednecks, bitter clingers, birthers, conspiracy theorists, the GOP's beasts, teabaggers ( a particularly ugly sexual term most of us never heard of ), uninformed morons, tenthers, and finally, thanks Maureen Dowd, "mean girls."
• You refer to our heroes, those brave Americans who stand up to you, even uglier names. In your desperation you even denigrate their children.

You are street hustlers, well-paid actors. You play Americans for suckers, faking a reasonable tone here, a concerned one there, a grain of sensibility - all of it faked. You are poseurs. You play your disinformation game like a "Machiavellian media three-card monte."  A game to keep Americans wondering - which is the truth, which the lie.

Everything you say and do belongs in the theatre of the absurd, sleight of hand, smoke and mirrors, designed to nudge, insinuate, plant seeds of doubt and uncertainty as you shovel more and bigger lies at Americans.

You will never be absolved...by us anyway, the rest is for God to decide...for your unmitigated gall, your taunting, childish insults, your snarled disdain for We The People, your constant lies, your outright distortions and continuing obfuscations.

We will long remember what we endured from all of you for the last two years. To reiterate the opinions of many Americans, you're done. We are finished with you.  

 

Take note: your puerile name-calling, twisted machinations, and outright lies have had one positive and certainly unintended consequence. Your efforts have worked to make us stronger, more determined than ever to

reduce you to deserved irrelevance.

You experienced a taste of that irrelevance on November 2nd

when Americans gave you

the time-honored middle-finger salute.

Hear this, all of you: there's more to come. 

Prediction: Because of your willful deliberate lies, you will continue the inevitable slide from dismal failure into utter obscurity, joining Air America, et al. on the dung heap of progressive history.


Soon, freedom-loving Americans will enjoy Thanksgiving, then Christmas and Hanukkah with families and friends. Unlike you, we love life; we cherish our unalienable rights endowed only by our Creator. And we love America. We love everything good about our country, our Constitutional Republic, that made it the world's beacon of freedom.


Let freedom ring in every heart throughout the holidays and into the New Year. In 2011, we begin anew, energized and ready. Freedom is everything. Without it, there is no America.


Dear Readers, understand this: the Left is just getting started in the attempt to reduce corporate-owned media into rubble. The objective? To allow only government-controlled media outlets, period. Look for all of them to double-down on the T.E.A. Parties and every media resource that opposes them.

Laughably, now Republican women are "mean" girls

According to Maureen Dowd, the red-haired (who knows for sure), has-been opinion writer for the equally lame dinosaur and self-described Gray Lady, The New York Times:

"Jan, Meg, Carly, Sharron, Linda, Michele, Queen Bee Sarah and sweet wannabe Christine -- have co-opted and ratcheted up the disgust with the status quo that originally buoyed Barack Obama," writes Dowd.

"Whether they're mistreating the help or belittling the president's manhood, making snide comments about a rival's hair or ripping an opponent for spending money on a men's fashion show, the Mean Girls have replaced Hope with Spite and Cool with Cold."

Scathing rhetoric, bleating, screeching, and metaphorical lynching by the unhinged left are preferred methods of silencing political opponents. New York's leftists in particular, are reportedly stunned into deer-in-the-headlight stares, ordering the same latte twice, checking reflections in passing shop windows for comfort. Those sanctimonious self-annointed elites struggle daily against dawning reality, desperate to continue the pretense that all is right with their tiny parochial universe on New York's upper east side. Hoot-worthy to say the very least.

Well MIZ Dowd, speaking as a conservative woman, we are guilty as charged -- of ratcheting up the disgust with the status quo that buoyed Barack Obama into the White House.  However, MIZ Dowd, there would be no need to ratchet up anything if only Obama hadn't lied and distorted his way through the entire campaign of 2008. Obama's colossal lies encouraged the electorate to stampede voting precincts across America. 

After his inauguration in January 2009, it became alarmingly apparent that not only had Obama lied throughout his campaign, the "mainstream" slack-jawed fawning media was complicit in those very same lies and obfuscations. Together, along with voter fraud in some polling places, Obama and the drooling media, enabled him to be elected to the highest office Americans can bestow on any citizen.

So pardon the hell out of conservative women, MIZ Dowd, if we decide not to bow to your insipid, arrogant elitism any longer. It's over, dear. Our choices for November 2nd are blindingly clear: either Obama and the Dems, OR, America. We can't have both.
