Seattle WA in-school clinic sets up abortion for a minor child

"The mother of a Ballard High School student is fuming after the health center on campus helped facilitate her 15-yr-old daughter's abortion during school hours."

In addition to every other problem with progressivism, like their inane childish notion of redistribution of wealth, their nanny-state view of government, it appears progressives may also be pedophiles.

No other answer to what happened in Seattle makes sense.

NC Rep Deborah Ross Says Mexican & Honduran illegal aliens Are Americans

On Wednesday March 23, 2011, the Judicial Committee in the NC Legislature passed HB 33 which stops government agencies in the state from accepting the worthless Matricula cards that Mexican consulates sell to illegal aliens in America.

Thanks to the fact Republicans now control the NC Legislature for the first time since the Civil War, the bill passed in committee 7-4 with vocal opposition from Democrats Deborah Ross (D-Wake), Bill Faison (D-Orange), and Larry Hall (D-Durham). HB 33 is now headed for a full vote in the NC House.

Ross was offended by ALIPAC President William Gheen's comments that he sought to represent the American side of this debate since Carlos Flores-Vizcarra, the Mexican consul general for the Carolinas, had been given the podium to speak against the bill.

Gheen stated that a Rasmussen Poll from 2007 showed 77% of Americans opposed licenses for illegal aliens and that he was willing to wager with any lawmaker that public attitudes regarding Matricula Consular cards were even stronger in opposition.

Before leering at William Gheen and his cohorts near the end of the video, Representative Ross claims...

Where are the networks when liberals want to "string up" Justice Thomas

Yes, last week, right in Palm Springs California, liberals were calling for the impeachment, then lynching, of a sitting justice on the United States Supreme Court. 

Bet you missed that story if you're among a small minority of Americans who still watch establishment networks expecting to hear facts and truth. About any issue. Ever. Granted, a few half-truths are thrown in to make what they say seem factual. After all, any well-school'ed progressive knows full well that in order to make lies believable to masses of people, the lies must first contain kernels of truth. Even children know this is true.

So that brings us back to Palm Springs, California on a recent sunny day at an "Anti-Koch Brothers" rally sponsored by Common Cause, AFFCE, The Ruckus Society, 350, Greenpeace, Code Pink, the Progessive Democrats of America, and others.

Obviously, not all liberals in the US are present at this rally. Regardless, I submit to you dear Reader, that tolerance and compassion - among the professional Left's leadership - is merely a convenient pose. A pose designed to attract willing, ignorant followers into their progressive fold using the deliberate disguise of being 'fair' and 'open-minded.' And by extension, those awful people - like conservatives - who don't accept liberalism's tenets are enemies to be tamped down and destroyed if at all possible.

It's a time-worn tactic that works well in American society on weak, or emotionally wounded people. All gangs use similar tactics on their prey. Presenting themselves as a familial group, offering belonging, a feeling of solidarity.

For young adults who suffered neglect, emotional trauma, weak parenting, 21st century liberalism is valhalla. Ultimately followers take on the pose of being tolerant and compassionate, never realizing that progressive leadership's tenets of dependency and unaccountability will eventually destroy them.

I digress. So, just where were the networks with this story? Gone fishin'? Playin' golf with Obama? Planning the next McCartney concert at the White House for Obama? Hmmmmm?

They were AWOL. As they are AWOL with each and every story that does not fit the acceptable liberal/progressive narrative.

An open letter to ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, NY Times, LA Times, and all major newspapers across America:


We the People will never forget what you did to us. For two years. Unabated. Undeserved.

• You are the schoolyard bullies we remember from childhood. You are the cowards who cried foul or hid when a parent appeared. You congratulate yourselves and each other for bullying us.  
• You dismiss us as rabble. You dismiss our leaders as rabble-rousers.  
• You aim your slack-jawed nonsense at us seven days a week. Your drooling minions line up to take aim at us in every way conceivable.  
• You chide, chastise, make fun of us, accuse us of racism and bigotry, refer to us as AstroTurf idiots.
• You question our ability to reason as we stand with our children in the rain holding signs begging Obama, the Feds, and Congress to stop spending our country into chaos, bankruptcy, or worse, revolution.
• You say repeatedly that we are violent and must be stopped. Note that violence nearly always comes from your side.
• You downplay and denigrate our rallies, our attendance at town hall meetings, our concern for our country, our traditional values.
• You report ( i.e. lie ) that we spit on Congressmen and scream racial epithets at them, without a single shred of evidence to support the story when hundreds of witnesses and cameras are literally everywhere.

• You call us Nazi’s, rednecks, bitter clingers, birthers, conspiracy theorists, the GOP's beasts, teabaggers ( a particularly ugly sexual term most of us never heard of ), uninformed morons, tenthers, and finally, thanks Maureen Dowd, "mean girls."
• You refer to our heroes, those brave Americans who stand up to you, even uglier names. In your desperation you even denigrate their children.

You are street hustlers, well-paid actors. You play Americans for suckers, faking a reasonable tone here, a concerned one there, a grain of sensibility - all of it faked. You are poseurs. You play your disinformation game like a "Machiavellian media three-card monte."  A game to keep Americans wondering - which is the truth, which the lie.

Everything you say and do belongs in the theatre of the absurd, sleight of hand, smoke and mirrors, designed to nudge, insinuate, plant seeds of doubt and uncertainty as you shovel more and bigger lies at Americans.

You will never be absolved...by us anyway, the rest is for God to decide...for your unmitigated gall, your taunting, childish insults, your snarled disdain for We The People, your constant lies, your outright distortions and continuing obfuscations.

We will long remember what we endured from all of you for the last two years. To reiterate the opinions of many Americans, you're done. We are finished with you.  

 

Take note: your puerile name-calling, twisted machinations, and outright lies have had one positive and certainly unintended consequence. Your efforts have worked to make us stronger, more determined than ever to

reduce you to deserved irrelevance.

It's difficult to know where to begin talking about the origins and the objectives of political correctness. It pervades US society yet it's very name sounds benign and well-intentioned. The pretense is that political correctness is vitally necessary in order to protect people's feelings and sensibilities.

Really? Should we assume that most people are unable to speak up for themselves, defend themselves from inane or even hurtful verbal attack? Some, in fact, probably can't ... or more likely, won't. So what. Does that warrant changing the way our entire society communicates? Does it warrant allowing pc's intrusive censorship into our daily conversations?

Hardly. That being said, think of the number of friends who would be shocked if each of us decided one fine morning that we were no longer going to play the game. Try it. The feeling of saying exactly what you're thinking is exhilarating. There are penalties in our society; make a decision as to whether free speech is worth it or not.

How happy are those American families to see Ms. Pelosi celebrating Democrat's accomplishments? How will these unemployed and struggling American families celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah this year?

What in the world will Nancy Pelosi 'celebrate'?

1. Will Pelosi celebrate the potential destruction of the finest health care system on the globe.
2. Will Pelosi celebrate the passage of Obamacare promising insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions. Which by the way, is not insurance. It's welfare.
3. Will Pelosi celebrate the House's passage of the Cap & Trade bill in the middle of the night during June '09 - without reading the bill of course. Unless you count John Boehner's reading of it during the wee hours that Saturday morning.
4. Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that the House members did not read any of the monstrous bills they shoved onto the American people.
5. Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that House members at best ignored, or at worst were rude, to voters demanding answers at townhall meetings during the summer of '09. Does anyone else remember Pete Stark's diatribe against his own constituents during that long hot summer. Or Arlen Specter's mind-numbing performance. Or any of the other hundreds of townhall meetings across the country that predictably erupted into chaos.
6. Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that the Democrat Party wildly applauded Mexico's President Calderon while he mindlessly chastised the United States from the well of Congress.
7. Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that most of the Democrat Socialists of America were RE-elected to office in November. That fact, alone, is overwhelming. Many members of DSA coming, of course, from California, a state that may soon be in receivership begging for taxpayer dollars to fund it's irresponsibility, in order for it to continue down the very same path of insolvency with no consequences for its fiscal insanity.
8. Will Pelosi celebrate the continuing class war the Dems are so fond of fueling, refusing to consider allowing the Bush-era tax cuts to stay in place for the "top 2% of earners" just so the Dems can stick it to the 'rich' again. Pelosi knows that the 'rich' - the investor class - are the ones who provide multitudes of jobs for the rest of America, but no matter.
9. Or, will Nancy Pelosi celebrate the fact that millions of American jobs have been lost and that at the current rate of stale recovery - in the private sector - it's expected to take at least 10 years to recover jobs - only in the private sector. We can bet Pelosi's celebrating the 27% increase in government jobs; that is, taxpayer-funded jobs. Perhaps she will celebrate that achievement because Democrat policies are designed to further tamp down investments in the private sector.

Are Democrats and RINO's merely tone-deaf to the suffering of American citizens, to the loss of freedom, to the probable un-Constitutionality of their actions and legislation?

Definitely.  But that's not the entire story. Not at all. Something else is afoot.  That something is a movement whose foul roots were planted in American soil a century ago. For starters, thank Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt for planting the poisonous roots of progressivism.

Progressivism has nearly come into full bloom, evident for all to see in 21st century America. Its tenets are embodied by a godless, soul-less group of people whose fervent wish it is to destroy this nation. Led by none other than Public Enemy #1, billionaire George Soros.



The good news is that progressives didn't count on the American people awakening to this monstrosity until the full takeover was accomplished. They assumed we'd continue to slumber, while they hijacked the sole beacon of freedom and liberty on the planet.

News flash for progressives. The American people not just awake. We're angry and more determined than ever to stop you cold. We will tamp down this noxious movement till there's little evidence left. Eventually even the smell will dissipate.

Lies, more lies, and damned lies

How many Americans have asked themselves these questions repeatedly over the last 12 months:

• how did America arrive at this place in our history, where we experienced a near meltdown in the financial markets; where 20% of mortgages were in default; where America's schools were failing; where the government owned automobile companies; where real health care reform was needed but a healthcare nightmare was being rammed down our throats; where nearly 10% of Americans are still unemployed; where the private sector is being systematically destroyed by anti-small-business policies? 
• how did we go from the jubilation of the election of 2008 to the overwhelming uncertainty and alarm in which we now find ourselves? 

How did all this happen? Too many assume it's a fluke, it just happened. It's just one of those things that's so unexpected it can't be anticipated. The country had a financial meltdown, no one could have predicted it. Now we're just trying to pull ourselves out of the quicksand. It can't happen again. It's an anomaly, after all.

NOT. EVEN. CLOSE.

It dawned on America by early 2009 that something was afoot in Washington D.C., something not-quite-right. Something detrimental not only to us as individuals but equally as destructive to America. Something so oddly difficult to articulate that many Americans simply turned away, not wanting to give voice to, nor to hear validation of, the growing alarm.

To begin with, there is no accurate, all-encompassing word that describes what Barack Hussein Obama brought to American's highest elected office.

Is he a socialist? Well, sort of ... but not exactly. How about a Marxist? A Maoist? A Statist? Just what kind of -ist is Obama? The expedient answer, looking at his policies and the team that surrounds him, is probably statist. It's certainly the most politically correct answer. Having been forged in the gangster, union-thug-mentality that is the political reality of Chicago, I think Obama is easily a Marxist.

But hear this: in the final analysis, the label used to describe President Obama's policies and agenda does not matter.

What is a matter of grave importance is that his agenda, and the stated agenda of the many radical progressive Lefty's surrounding Obama, is unquestionably antithetical to everything that is America.

The radical progressive Left says - disingenuously - that the U.S. Constitution is merely a set of guidelines, simple suggestions. They say the Constitution was written too long ago to be relevant in the 21st century. Does this remind you of the same argument progressives apply to the Holy Bible as well? It should and you'll see why in a minute.

Progressives' (aka proggies) attitudes toward the Constitution - and the Bible - although laughably juvenile, cannot be dismissed. Their insistent belief, that the Constitution is an outdated guideline, is dangerous to what defines us Americans. It is dangerous to our individual freedom, freedom endowed solely by our Creator. If you want to upset proggies, just say the words: "Only God can bestow human rights, never government."  Then sit back and watch the fireworks. It's fun if you're bored.

The radical progressive Left attempts to portray America's courageous founders as slave-owning, greedy, misogynystic men who cared not a whit for anyone, anything, but their own selfish interests. Diminishing our founders this way, proggies can, by inference alone, diminish the Constitution and all documents created by those brave men who defined and literally created America.

Obama, true to his worship of an all-powerful government, omits God

Last week, on September 15th, President Obama quoted from the Declaration of Independence ... correction, Obama's version of the Declaration ... in his speech at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. During it, he omitted what is undeniably the most important phrase in the entire Declaration.

Obama omitted the one tenet in the Declaration that makes us Americans, and distinguishes us from every other nation on earth. [Link to that speech is at the end of this post]

The phrase Obama left out...? 

"...endowed by our Creator ..."

It is the most important, the most critical phrase.

Was the omission deliberate? Of course it was. Leaving God out of the equation fits Obama's progressive narrative.

Prior to our founders' Declaration of Independence, most human beings were considered chattel, a select few thought to be "better" than others, i.e. of 'royal' lineage, etc.  Hence, the King or other leader assumed ultimate power over his subjects, pontificating to the masses from his lofty throne.

According to Thomas Jefferson's deistic vision, in Natural Law, human rights are believed to be derived solely from our Creator (nature, the universe). To assert, as Jefferson did, that our rights as human beings were not only derived solely from our Creator and were considered inalienable, was heresy. To say the least it poked a deliberate finger in the eyes of the rest of the 18th century world.

Obama believes that as citizens of this country, his government is the purveyor of our rights. Others have shared Obama's belief in an all-powerful centralized bureaucracy. We arrived at this time and place through decades of tireless chipping away at the Constitution, and America's individual freedoms. The Obama election is the true culmination of one hundred years of stealth progressivsim by generations of people dedicated to the notion that they are entitled to dictate how, when, and where we shall live our lives.

No one sums it up better than Jason McNew at American Thinker.com.  Mr. McNew ended his recent article (referenced below) with this:

"When We The People allow the government to grant us "rights" such as health care or education, we are now making the government the purveyor of our rights, instead of our Creator.

Listen up gang, with every epithet, every innuendo, each distortion, you make her case for her. You increase her popularity with every utterance.

That's a boon for bloggers since we can take your stupidity, ignorance, and bullying to prove our case against you. Eventually your arrogance will destroy you. We want to be there when that happens. Because you've forgotten an ingredient critical to progressivism. More people have to be willing to allow you to dictate than those who oppose you. Take a look around. You're losing. And we're just getting started.

The lines are being drawn by the hour. The American people see through your pose of tolerance, transparency, and the "audacity of hope."  That is truly laughable in its cynicism. Freedom is the only thing that matters. Freedom is every human being's inheritance from the God who gave each of us life. There is no difference in the DNA of Americans than, say, people in the remotest jungles of the Amazon. We share our humanity in common.

The only thing that separates Americans from people in other nations is FREEDOM. Individual freedom is everything. Without it, we are no longer America.

And now, we know that you know that. Your attacks on our Republic are deliberate.

The lines are drawn. We surround you. We are Americans. You will not take that from us.
