"The first thing to realize is that the immediate goal of the Progressives is not to establish government-run universal healthcare immediately. Pelosi Celebrates Accomplishments: Dearest Dems, please define the word "accomplishment"
Pelosi Celebrates Accomplishments, Horrified Voters Not Invited? - HUMAN EVENTS
How odd is this celebration to 15-20 million unemployed Americans with no foreseeable jobs on the horizon to provide relief. How happy are those American families to see Ms. Pelosi celebrating Democrat's accomplishments? How will these unemployed and struggling American families celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah this year?
What in the world will Nancy Pelosi 'celebrate'?
Definitely. But that's not the entire story. Not at all. Something else is afoot. That something is a movement whose foul roots were planted in American soil a century ago. For starters, thank Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt for planting the poisonous roots of progressivism.
Progressivism has nearly come into full bloom, evident for all to see in 21st century America. Its tenets are embodied by a godless, soul-less group of people whose fervent wish it is to destroy this nation. Led by none other than Public Enemy #1, billionaire George Soros.
The good news is that progressives didn't count on the American people awakening to this monstrosity until the full takeover was accomplished. They assumed we'd continue to slumber, while they hijacked the sole beacon of freedom and liberty on the planet.
News flash for progressives. The American people not just awake. We're angry and more determined than ever to stop you cold. We will tamp down this noxious movement till there's little evidence left. Eventually even the smell will dissipate.

- Will Pelosi celebrate the potential destruction of the finest health care system on the globe.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the passage of Obamacare promising insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions. Which by the way, is not insurance. It's welfare.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the House's passage of the Cap & Trade bill in the middle of the night during June '09 - without reading the bill of course. Unless you count John Boehner's reading of it during the wee hours that Saturday morning.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that the House members did not read any of the monstrous bills they shoved onto the American people.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that House members at best ignored, or at worst were rude, to voters demanding answers at townhall meetings during the summer of '09. Does anyone else remember Pete Stark's diatribe against his own constituents during that long hot summer. Or Arlen Specter's mind-numbing performance. Or any of the other hundreds of townhall meetings across the country that predictably erupted into chaos.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that the Democrat Party wildly applauded Mexico's President Calderon while he mindlessly chastised the United States from the well of Congress.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the fact that most of the Democrat Socialists of America were RE-elected to office in November. That fact, alone, is overwhelming. Many members of DSA coming, of course, from California, a state that may soon be in receivership begging for taxpayer dollars to fund it's irresponsibility, in order for it to continue down the very same path of insolvency with no consequences for its fiscal insanity.
- Will Pelosi celebrate the continuing class war the Dems are so fond of fueling, refusing to consider allowing the Bush-era tax cuts to stay in place for the "top 2% of earners" just so the Dems can stick it to the 'rich' again. Pelosi knows that the 'rich' - the investor class - are the ones who provide multitudes of jobs for the rest of America, but no matter.
- Or, will Nancy Pelosi celebrate the fact that millions of American jobs have been lost and that at the current rate of stale recovery - in the private sector - it's expected to take at least 10 years to recover jobs - only in the private sector. We can bet Pelosi's celebrating the 27% increase in government jobs; that is, taxpayer-funded jobs. Perhaps she will celebrate that achievement because Democrat policies are designed to further tamp down investments in the private sector.
