IBM's Sam Palmisano had a better plan than Obamacare and was dismissed...

Still think there's an itty bitty chance that Barack Hussein Obama developed Obamacare out of concern for American's health care?

Part 3 of 3: The History of Political Correctness

Interesting, yes? Now what do you think of political correctness? Not so benign in its effect, is it?

Face it, political correctness is censorship, straight up.

Make the decision to quit censoring your speech. Watch what happens around you. Friends who are weak and easily controlled will run. Friends who are thoroughly indoctrinated will rage at you for daring to speak freely.

Friends who are strong will ask you what you mean and be willing to discuss it. Those same people will likely still be your friends. And you will be free again.

Part 1 of 3: The History of Political Correctness

It's difficult to know where to begin talking about the origins and the objectives of political correctness. It pervades US society yet it's very name sounds benign and well-intentioned. The pretense is that political correctness is vitally necessary in order to protect people's feelings and sensibilities.

Really? Should we assume that most people are unable to speak up for themselves, defend themselves from inane or even hurtful verbal attack? Some, in fact, probably can't ... or more likely, won't. So what. Does that warrant changing the way our entire society communicates? Does it warrant allowing pc's intrusive censorship into our daily conversations?

Hardly. That being said, think of the number of friends who would be shocked if each of us decided one fine morning that we were no longer going to play the game. Try it. The feeling of saying exactly what you're thinking is exhilarating. There are penalties in our society; make a decision as to whether free speech is worth it or not.

In the meantime, watch these three videos. Then decide whether political correctness is harmful or not.
